Dandelion Miniature Study

Dandelion Miniature Study is a mixed-media botanical artwork created for Blooming Marvelous May and Miniature May. The goal of this piece was to highlight the beauty hidden within one of nature's most familiar wildflowers.

The artwork was created traditionally using mechanical pencil, kneaded eraser, colored pencil, India ink pen, and acrylic paint pen. After completion, the image was refined using Snapseed and Procreate to prepare it for presentation.

By focusing closely on the bloom and surrounding foliage, I aimed to capture the texture, color, and character of a flower that is often overlooked despite being widely recognized.
