Anemone Blanda Miniature Study is a botanical artwork created during my Blooming Marvelous May and Miniature May art challenges. The goal of the piece was to capture the vibrant color and delicate structure of the Anemone Blanda flower while working within a miniature format.
The artwork combines traditional and digital techniques. The original piece was created using mechanical pencil, kneaded eraser, colored pencil, India ink pen, and acrylic paint pen. After completion, the image was refined using Snapseed and Procreate.
By focusing closely on a single bloom, I aimed to highlight the flower's radial arrangement, texture, and vibrant purple petals. Botanical subjects like this continue to inspire my work because they encourage careful observation and appreciation of the natural world.
