Aqua January painting 22 - Ent

This is an Ent I made because they can be found in the world of The Adventuring Party Called Thunderwolf. They are forest dwellers who protect their trees zealously from beavers and any other creature that would cut down their trees. They have gaping holes where their eyes should be and use this to their advantage by scaring would-be tree choppers away. This was made with watercolor tube paint and a rubber brush. The outline was made with Fineline marker. It took me 48 minutes to complete.
