Violet Miniature Study – Botanical Floral Artwork
Violet Miniature Study is a mixed-media floral miniature created using mechanical pencil, colored pencil, India ink pen, and acrylic paint pen before being digitally refined in Snapseed and Procreate.
This piece was created as part of my Blooming Marvelous May and Miniature May artwork series, where I’ve been exploring small-scale botanical compositions and layered traditional media techniques. The goal with this artwork was to create strong contrast between the glowing yellow flowers and the darker textured background while preserving the hand-crafted sketch quality of the original materials.
The combination of traditional drawing tools and digital editing allowed me to push the contrast and texture while still maintaining the natural imperfections and expressive linework of the original piece.
