The Watchful Tsvetnaya | Russian Tsvetnaya Dog Art

The Watchful Tsvetnaya is my mixed-media portrait of a Russian Tsvetnaya created for Dogust 2026.

I wanted the dog's alert expression to become the focal point of the portrait. Its sideways gaze eventually inspired the name The Watchful Tsvetnaya.

The original artwork was created using a mechanical pencil, kneaded eraser, watercolor pen, India ink pen, and acrylic paint pen. I then edited the completed artwork using Snapseed and Procreate.

This piece is part of my continuing Dogust collection exploring different dog breeds through my mixed-media style.
