Purple Aster Miniature Study
Purple Aster Miniature Study is a mixed media botanical artwork created as part of my ongoing Blooming Marvelous May and Miniature May projects. The piece combines traditional floral illustration techniques with digital refinement to create a layered and expressive floral composition.
The artwork was created using mechanical pencil, kneaded eraser, colored pencil, India ink pen, and acrylic paint pen before being digitally enhanced in Snapseed and Procreate.
The goal for this piece was to create a dense floral composition that felt immersive and energetic while still preserving the handmade textures of the original drawing.
