Stoneforge Malamute is an Alaskan Malamute portrait inspired by the ore hex from Settlers of Catan. I wanted the stone backdrop to reflect durability and the powerful build of the breed.

Traditional mixed media on wood hex tile, later refined digitally for print presentation.
