The Steady Jämthund | Dogust 2026 Drawing 2

“The Steady Jämthund” is the second portrait in my Dogust 2026 collection. I wanted to highlight the breed’s dense coat, wolf-like features, and composed expression through a small mixed-media study.

Materials included mechanical pencil, kneaded eraser, watercolor pen, fine liner pen, and acrylic paint pen. I used Snapseed and Procreate to prepare the completed drawing for its digital presentation.

This 4-by-5-inch portrait is part of a larger 11-by-14-inch sheet containing six dog drawings. Open-edition prints of the Jämthund portrait are available individually. I will release the complete physical original after all five remaining drawings on the sheet are finished.
