Iron Skin Potion of the Aegis is a fantasy item illustration created for my original game world, Barker’s of Ruin. This piece was designed as a defensive potion concept with a clear gameplay effect tied to a card-suit mechanic.
In-game Effect:
💎 Each Diamond card grants +1 Shield during a single combat.
The more Diamonds drawn, the stronger the defensive boost—representing the user’s skin hardening into iron until the fight ends.
Materials Used:
Mechanical pencil, kneaded eraser, watercolor pencil, graphite watercolor pencil, and acrylic pen (border).
