The Boy and the Boxer

The Boy and the Boxer is a mixed-media redraw of a school project I originally created on January 7, 2007. Inspired by an onomatopoeia assignment, the original drawing featured a boy walking a boxer dog with a unique calico cat-inspired coat pattern. Nearly twenty years later, I revisited the concept using mechanical pencil, colored pencil, fine liner pen, India ink pen, and acrylic paint pen, transforming a childhood classroom project into a detailed illustration that celebrates artistic growth and creativity.
