Elk redraw

*I have a family member who wanted the original Elk drawing, so I did a redrawing of it for them. This drawing, unlike the original one, is just based on the elk statue at smithy's Outpost Hermiston Oregon. I felt like using my dip pen instead of a fineliner pen as the last time I did that with watercolor paint, it got on the tip and prevented the ink from touching the paper so much that in my attempts to make it come off broke the tip of the felt on the pen to come off. Back at the time I made this painting, I decided to not use a dip pen for fine details, for the time being as the fur lines to me look a bit like spots, and I didn't make another dip pen artwork for a few months.
*Made with a mechanical pencil, pink pearl eraser, kneeded eraser, India ink, dip pen, watercolor brush, water dropper, watercolor paint, water, and gel pen
*Time: about 3 hours and 31 minutes
