Desertbound Guardian: The Saluki of the Final Hex

This artwork closes my custom Settlers of Catan Dog Hex Painting Series, where each resource tile was paired with a dog breed chosen to match its terrain and personality. For the final Desert Hex, I selected the Saluki—a historic breed known for grace, speed, and desert endurance.

Created with Stuart Semple Super Base, White 2.0 acrylic paint, protective mattifying membrane coat varnish, and POSCA acrylic paint pens, then digitally refined in Snapseed and Procreate.

This project blended board game nostalgia, dog breed appreciation, fantasy worldbuilding, and handcrafted art into one complete series.
